MAY


Palau (Baronia de Rialb): "Roser de la Baronia de Rialb", is celebrated at Sta. Maria de Palau, May 8.
Aguilar (Bassella) : 3rd Sunday in May.
Politg (Baronia de Rialb): coinciding with the festivity of the Ascension.

 

JUNE


Gualter (Baronia de Rialb): Cherry Festival, 1st Sunday in June, featuring a cherry tasting.

Ponts: Festival of the Rosary, 1st Sunday after Corpus Christi.
The so-called “dawn call”, played by the municipal band through the streets, begins the festival in honour of the Virgin of the Rosary just after five in the morning. Then, with the Dawn Rosary, the image of the Virgin is brought out into the streets and the Rosary is sung. Children, dressed in Catalan costume, also take part in the festival, offering traditional Catalan dances. The “Majorales del Roser” preside over the day, offering a blessed rose to all families.
